I am a graduate student at the University of Washington working toward a Master of Communication in Digital Media (MCDM) degree. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media with a minor in Psychology from Seattle University. I have a passion for the intersection between professional communication, leadership processes and the ways in which we can leverage the various fountains of opportunity found in the digital media field. I strive to implement thoughtful communication processes into my work as I believe this is vital to creating thoughtful and authentic artifacts.
I’m a naturally creative person and enjoy learning about the nuances of effective leadership and the role of psychodynamics in this field. Some of my experience in applying this is found in my website design portfolio, where I’ve worked as a website design evolutionist and communication liaison to create successful website experiences for users. I approach this intersection from an organic lens–one that is user-friendly and human-centered while also acknowledging the importance of compassion and meaning in said design. This background has made me knowledgable in various website-building and CMS platforms–such as WordPress, TerminalFour, Squarespace, Wix, and GoDaddy–and designing programs like Photoshop and Figma.
I have a strong inner voice of motivation that propels me forward to learn new things everyday. Los Angeles is my hometown and I have come to appreciate Washington’s beautiful landscape and the vibrant city of Seattle. In my free time, I like to explore photography, dance, and learn new skills under the computer science umbrella.
I offer website design, maintenance, and support services for small businesses or individuals who are seeking digital media help and/or looking to elevate their websites. Please reach out to me via email at my contact information below if interested. Thank you for stopping by!
